Standing 23 inches tall the base has a Pewter-colored (black chrome) finish. It is also available in Polished Brass or Antique Brass.

Touching the base anywhere turns the lamp on and off and controls the power settings. The lamp comes with 3 15-watt bulbs but can use bulbs up to 25-watts.

What makes this lamp unique is the shade. In a black metal framework are 6 panels of glass. The diameter of the shade is approx. 14 inches. This lamp has 6 plain white glass panels for those who want a lamp without images.
